Dejan is translating the sermon series from Pastor Chuck Smith's teaching through the Bible, both audio and written word-for-word transcripts of each sermon. He began in the New Testament book of John in September 2004, getting through to Romans in transcripts and the book of Acts in audio before losing all of the files when they were deleted from the computer he was using in a case of mistaken computer ownership. Now the equipment he uses is exclusively for translation, and he began again in December 2008. You can see some of this work here (listed by Bible book, i.e. Acts).
Our prayer is that this labor will bring blessing and help to many in the Serbian-speaking world. You can follow the translation progress below, which has been recorded since February 2012. Each time a transcript is completed, progress is updated here. To date, there are no audio files complete.
